BMO Field

BMO Field is located at Exhibition Place on the shores of Lake Ontario in downtown Toronto. Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is about 18 miles northwest, connected to the city via the UP Express train to Union Station (25 minutes). Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ) is within walking distance on the Toronto Islands. The TTC streetcar routes 509 (Harbourfront) and 511 (Bathurst) stop directly at Exhibition Place. The GO Transit Exhibition station also serves the venue during events. The Gardiner Expressway provides highway access, but parking is limited in the Exhibition grounds; transit is strongly preferred. Rideshare zones are along Manitoba Drive.

Liberty Village, directly northeast of Exhibition Place, is a trendy neighborhood with craft breweries, brunch spots, and pubs popular with the pre-game crowd. King Street West (about 10 minutes east) is Toronto's entertainment district with nightclubs, upscale restaurants, live theaters, and numerous hotels. The Harbourfront and Queens Quay waterfront area, stretching east from the stadium along Lake Ontario, offers scenic patios, the Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery, and easy streetcar access to the CN Tower and Rogers Centre district.

BMO Field will adopt FIFA's World Cup security and bag policy during the tournament. Fans should expect a clear bag policy allowing only transparent bags no larger than 12" x 6" x 12", along with small clutch purses or wallets. Backpacks, large bags, coolers, professional cameras, selfie sticks, and umbrellas are typically prohibited at FIFA events. Exceptions for medical necessities and small diaper bags apply with security inspection. As a Canadian venue, specific policies may be finalized by FIFA and the Canadian Soccer Association closer to the tournament — check the official FIFA 2026 event guide for confirmed rules.
