Estadio BBVA is located in Guadalupe, a municipality on the eastern edge of the Monterrey metropolitan area, at the foot of the Cerro de la Silla mountain. Monterrey International Airport (MTY) is approximately 15 miles northeast. The Monterrey Metrorrey light rail Línea 2 runs through the city and connects at Exposición station, from which bus routes and taxis serve the stadium area. The Ecovía BRT line along Avenida Constitución also provides east-west connectivity. Uber and DiDi are widely available and affordable throughout the metro area. Stadium parking is available along Avenida Pablo Livas, but fills quickly on match days.

Barrio Antiguo in downtown Monterrey (about 20 minutes west) is the city's cultural heart, with colonial architecture, art galleries, craft cocktail bars, and restaurants along Calle Morelos and surrounding streets. The San Pedro Garza García district (about 25 minutes southwest) is an upscale area with shopping centers like Galerías Valle Oriente, fine dining, and modern hotels near the Santa Catarina River walk. Centro Monterrey around the Macroplaza offers affordable hotels, the MARCO contemporary art museum, and traditional norteño cuisine in the surrounding streets.

Estadio BBVA will operate under FIFA's World Cup bag policy during tournament matches. Small clear plastic bags no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" are expected to be the standard.
